Power Platform Developer

Broadview Technical Solutions is placing a Power Platform Developer to build and support reporting and application development solutions within an enterprise Cognos and Microsoft Power Platform environment. You will work across agency departments on new development, ongoing maintenance, and platform support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Power Platform solutions through the full change/release management cycle.
• Build Power BI reports and dashboards; support Power Apps and Power Automate implementations.
• Coordinate system integration testing and UAT prior to production deployment.
• Resolve data issues and user tickets in a timely manner; provide on-call availability for off-hours issues.
• Maintain Cognos non-production and production environments, applying patches and upgrades as required.
• Administer Cognos platform components including user accounts, security profiles, and access controls.
• Produce technical documentation and deliver end-user training on new functionality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience in application design, development, and testing.
• 5+ years working with Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including report and dashboard creation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, DAX, and SQL.
• SaaS/PaaS environment experience; familiarity with data warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: C#, C++, JSON, Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications preferred.

Compensation: $65 - $70/hr
