Broadview Technical Solutions is placing a Power BI Developer to design, build, and support analytics solutions within a Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role combines Power Apps development with strong Power BI and data modeling skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps and the broader Power Platform.
- Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
- Write and maintain DAX expressions to support custom calculations and KPIs.
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into reporting models.
- Apply data modeling and visualization best practices to produce accurate, actionable insights.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders; troubleshoot and enhance existing solutions.
- Operate in SaaS and PaaS environments, integrating data from cloud-based systems and services.
- Maintain application security, performance, and usability across development lifecycles.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience in application development, testing, and design.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Strong command of Power BI, including dashboard and report design and DAX-based measures.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Proficient in SQL; knowledge of data warehouse concepts and analytics architecture best practices.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, SQL, or JSON.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or Azure Data Services; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, or Power Platform ALM concepts.
Compensation: $62 - 75/hr
