Cognos TM1 Architect

Broadview Technical Solutions is placing a Cognos TM1 Architect to lead development and maintenance of enterprise TM1 applications (version 11.2+) supporting financial planning, reporting, and analytics across agency departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex TI processes and chores, web sheets (static and active forms), web applications, rules, and workflows in Cognos TM1.
• Design and implement data, application, and object-level security models.
• Install and configure Cognos TM1 and BI tools; maintain platform stability across environments.
• Lead requirements gathering and produce functional and technical design documentation.
• Coordinate system integration testing and UAT; support production deployments through the change/release process.
• Resolve data issues and system problems on a timely basis; provide on-call availability for critical off-hours issues.
• Produce technical documentation and deliver end-user training.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience developing and maintaining TM1 applications using version 11.2 or higher.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cognos TM1 Perspective, Architect, Performance Modeler, and Contributor Web.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in scripting languages.
• Experience designing and implementing data, application, and object-level security.
• Knowledge of finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Strong communication skills; able to interact at all levels of an organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Cognos certification preferred.

Compensation: $82 - $95/hr
