Cloud Data Engineer

Broadview Technical Solutions is placing a Cloud Data Engineer to architect and build enterprise-scale data warehouse and analytics systems on Azure. This is a senior technical role requiring deep hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms and end-to-end pipeline development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop data warehouse and analytical systems using Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and related PaaS services.
• Design and build data pipelines using API ingestion and streaming ingestion methods.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code strategies within Azure DevOps.
• Develop NoSQL solutions using Azure Cosmos DB.
• Apply Kimball and Inmon data warehouse modeling methodologies.
• Support system testing, deployment, and disaster recovery activities.
• Produce technical documentation and provide end-user training on platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience architecting and developing data warehouse systems at enterprise scale.
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure App Service.
• Hands-on experience developing NoSQL solutions with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure offerings.
• Solid DevOps and CI/CD knowledge; experience with infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience building end-to-end data warehouse systems using SQL Server, Analysis Services, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Azure Databricks, Azure IoT, Azure HDInsight + Spark, and Azure Stream Analytics is a plus.
• Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS/SSAS/SSIS), C#, PowerShell, and Python experience desirable.
• Relevant certifications preferred.

Compensation: $82 - $90/hr
